Hose of our victory

This just happened yesterday(Aug. 4 2010).

The storm "Domeng" passed through our place when a water pipe broke in our bathroom. Actually, I do not know if there is any connection between the storm and the breakage of the water pipe.

When the water pipe broke, Me and my mom hurriedly went to the bathroom to check it. We were both in panic and worried that the house will be flooded. So, together with my mom and lolo, we think and do various of solutions to avoid flooding inside the house. Until we came up to a solution of a "hose technique" where an old hose was used to connect to the broken water pipe and the other end was outside the house. It was a good idea yet there are still complications. There are a lot of holes in the hose!which causes water leaks in the sala. Then, we continue to mend it until we successfully solved the problem.

Everyday we all have different kinds of burdens, hardships and sufferings. We think, plan or formulate solutions to these difficulties. But not all our bright ideas would solve our problems yet we shouldn't stop there. That failure to mend our problems must serve as motivations to think for a greater or even the best ideas.

As youths that REACH OUT CHRIST TO KIDS, we should not stop if situations that happen around us doesn't seem right or keep us from growing in our service. we cannot avoid encountering different issues and other matters. I leaerned from those encounters that we should be OPTIMISTIC and GOAL ORIENTED persons. We should CLAIM our victory.

As a team, we cannot face these hardships only by ourselves. We must help one another, be sensitive with one another. Also, we cannot just decide carelessly because for every action there is a corresponding reaction. We have to ask the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Lastly, when we think of our solutions to our problems let us claim the success of solving it and never doubt the power of our prayers. Let us have the FAITH..having FAITH is BELIEVING AND OBEYING GOD EVEN HAVING LOTS OF QUESTIONS THAN ANSWERS.
